Tickets & Seating

How much are tickets?

This really depends on what you want your Harefest experience to be. Are you coming for all three days? Will you be staying overnight? Breakfast on Saturday? You have some decisions to make. Click Here to explore your options!

Can I purchase tickets at the event?

Yes, subject to availability and box office fees. There are two box office locations

  • Main Box Office (NE 4th Ave)
  • Overnight Box Office (between the Overnight & Festival Areas, see map)

Box Office Hours:

  • Thursday – 3:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Friday – Noon to 10:00pm
  • Saturday – Main 9:00am – 10:00 pm, Overnight 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Is handicapped seating / parking available?

There is no seating in general admission other than picnic tables but the concert field is navigable by most wheelchairs and scooters. Our staff is also happy to help folks who need extra assistance getting settled into a good space. ADA parking is available at a convenient location close to the entrance of the venue.

I lost my tickets. What can I do?

Once you have purchased your Harefest tickets, you can contact Afton Tickets for any concerns related to recovering your misplaced tickets.

Can I split a Festival Pass between multiple people (one for each day)?

Festival Pass holders receive a non-transferable wristband upon entry, so it is not possible to share.

Can I upgrade my ticket to add more days or overnight?

Yep! That will be another instance where you can turn to Afton Tickets to assist you.

Is reserved seating available?

No. The event is all General Admission with no seating. However, you may bring chairs and blankets. (read a little further for more about that….)

What is the policy regarding bringing chairs and blankets into the venue?

Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed in designated areas only. Please be respectful of those who may be sitting behind you with regard to the height of your chair. We prefer (but don’t restrict) low back chairs.  Chairs should be removed from the main venue at the end of each night. Chairs left on the field will be removed by security. Attendees will not have access to get them on Saturday until the main venue gates open.

IS MARIJUANA SMOKING ALLOWED AT HAREFEST?

The OLCC specifically states that “recreational marijuana cannot be sold or smoked in public“, and that even includes the magical confines of Harefest. Please help us stay on their good side.

Additional Ticket Info

  • All Overnight bundles must be purchased in advance (they will sell out anyway, so don’t wait!)
  • FESTIVAL PASS required in order to enter the camping/RV area of the Festival
  • VALID ID REQUIRED to obtain tickets and entry into the Festival.

Food & Drinks

What does it mean that the bars are cashless?

To help speed up the bar lines this year and make it more convenient for everyone, Harefest is a cashless event. FastBar is a cashless payment system that helps you get drinks quicker. When you arrive, you’ll get a wristband  linked up to your credit card. At the bar, simply tap to pay in less than a second. At the end of the event we’ll automatically close you out with the card on file and send you an electronic receipt! Fastbar payment will be required at all bars, the official festival merch booth, and food vendors. Pre-register for your Fastbar wristband now! If you used Fastbar last year, you don’t need to create a new account, but you still need to register for this year’s event.

What types of drinks will be available for purchase?

A variety of drink options including beer, seltzer, cider, liquor, soft drinks, and energy drinks. Check out the Food & Drink page as the event gets closer to what options will be available.

What types of food will be available for purchase?

There will be a variety of independent food vendors on site with a wide range of menus. Check out the list here as the event gets closer to what options will be available.

What are the Saturday morning breakfast options?

Start your Harefest Saturday onsite with a trip through the Wild Hare Saloon Breakfast Buffet (Pancakes, Biscuits and Gravy, Country Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Fresh Fruit, AND COFFEE) while enjoying live bands starting at 9am! There are a limited number of these tickets! Purchase now on the TICKETS page (additional breakfast options TBA).

Will there be free water available at Harefest?

YES. You may bring in an EMPTY TRANSPARENT PLASTIC bottle to refill (a free water filling station is inside the venue), or you can purchase a clear water bottle at the festival.

Can I bring my own food and drink to the concert?

Outside food or drink are NOT permitted in the concert venue. However, overnight guests (camping and RV’s) may bring outside food and drink for consumption in their campsite or RV, subject to the overnight policies listed here. EMPTY TRANSPARENT PLASTIC water/spray bottles are permitted.

Are there ATM machines at Harefest?

How many people can stay in an RV or tent?

As many as can safely fit. YOU MUST HAVE A FESTIVAL PASS TO ACCESS THE CAMPING/RV AREAS.

Why are overnight attendees required to sign a liability waiver?

It’s an insurance and liability issue, and is commonplace at festivals. You can save time by pre-signing the waiver and bring it to the campsite/RV check in. Here’s the link.

What time do we need to vacate the camping areas after the event?

All overnight attendees must vacate the property by 10am on Sunday, July 21.

Can we reserve tent campsite spaces next to each other?

Yes, but this must be done at the time of purchase.  Each purchaser is limited to TWO Overnight bundles per purchase.

Can we reserve RV Parking spaces next to each other?

All RV spaces are reserved in advance at the time of purchase.  Due to high demand, each purchaser is limited to two RV bundles per purchase.  All overnight camping spaces sold out last year, and although more spaces have been added this year, everything is expected to sell out again.  Don’t dilly dally!

Can I park a tent trailer in a “tent” campsite?

Only tents are allowed in the tent campsite.

Can I put up a tent in an RV space?

No… with one exception. If the tent is up off the ground (like a ‘tent trailer) then it can be used in an RV site.

Can I bring a grill to BBQ at my Camp or RV site?

No open flame is permitted in the camping areas, so charcoal and any flammable gases are prohibited. Electric pellet grills are permitted but access to power is very limited.

Can I park my car next to my tent?

No. Only tents are allowed in the tent campsite.  HOWEVER, each Tent Camping bundle now comes with a parking space inside the overnight area, so you won’t have to go very far to get stuff out of your car.

The Harefest Map shows a VIP RV Parking area. How do I get that?

VIP RV spaces are only available to sponsors and event partners. Many companies become sponsors so they can treat their employees to an amazing weekend of music “VIP” Style!  Send an email to gm@harefest.com to inquire about sponsorship opportunities.

I’m towing a car with my RV. Can I park both in our RV space?

RV reservations are good for 1 “engine” and towed vehicles may require a space in the public pay lot. A non-motorized trailer being pulled by a truck will not require separate parking fee. In either case, you may be asked to “decouple” and park your car or towing vehicle in the main lot at the discretion of the Overnight staff.

Can I sleep overnight in my car in the main GA parking lot?

In accordance with Clackamas County overnight taxation policies and venue agreements, we are not able to authorize people ‘sleeping in their cars’ instead of tent camping. Attendees must either stay overnight in a designated RV space, or in the tent camping area where vehicles are not permitted.

Will there be carts to shuttle to and from parking/Harefest RV Village?

We can help accomodate ADA guests who need extra help getting around, but there will be no shuttle services at the event.

Is there a camp host?

Yes. You can find the camp hosts in the north east corner of the overnight area next to the gate between overnight and venue. Hosts are available from 7am-8pm each festival day. Overnight security is available 24 hours a day.  From 8pm-7am, the security team is your point of contact for emergency issues.

Can we have two vehicles in an RV space?

No. Only one “engine” per RV space.

Can I use an electric or traeger-type pellet grill in the overnight area?

Yep! But no gas flames. That’s the biggie.

Can I use a generator in the overnight area?

Yes, but operations are subject to quiet hours. Please do not run any loud generator after 1am.

IS THERE A FLAG, SIGN, OR DECORATION POLICY IN THE OVERNIGHT OR VENUE AREAS?

We love spirit & enthusiasm and want everyone to feel at ease during their time at the fest. Please keep these guidelines in mind:

  • No political signs or paraphernalia. We’re here to share a common experience…the music!
  • No flags, flag poles, extendable poles or anything that can poke, stab or fall causing injury.
  • No freestanding Inflatables.
  • Signs or decorations may be used to decorate reserved spaces (tent camp & RV), but cannot be hung or displayed on any fences or structures that are part of the fairgrounds.

Security reserves the right to deny entry to signs or decorations that are deemed unacceptable. In addition, the festival reserves the right to deny any decorative elements within the festival grounds on the basis of the above policy or for the purpose of providing unobstructed views to all guests.

General Event Info

Can I Get to HAREFEST via a Rideshare Service?

Absolutely and we highly encourage it, especially if you’re not staying overnight and plan to have an adult beverage or two. Please enter 888 NE 4th Ave, Canby, OR 97013 (The Canby Historical Society) as your pick-up/drop-off point. It’s midpoint between highway 99E and the fairgrounds entrance…a reasonable distance away from festival activity that allows drivers to quickly get in and out as well as making it easier for you to locate your ride and your ride to locate you.

Does Harefest have any known side Effects?

Harefest has been known to cause euphoria, spontaneous bouts of loud singing, uncontrollable air-guitaring, and strong sense of connection with hundreds of fellow attendees. Harefest has been known to cause index and pinky finger fatigue from throwing up the metal horns.  If you experience a s***-eating grin that lasts past the end of the summer, consult your doctor. They may prescribe another full dose.

Take lots of photos and videos, post them online, and tag your friends!

All you need is a Festival Pass.  (Single Day passes do not allow for overnight)
