Are my 3-day Passes Transferable?

Unfortunately no. Ticketholders receive a wristband at entry that will be used for that person to enter all three days. Broken or damaged wristbands may be denied entry.

Can I purchase tickets at the Event?

Tickets available at entry and are $10 more day-of-show

Am I allowed to leave the event and then come back in the same day?

There is no same-day re-entry

Can I use a wagon to bring my chairs and blankets into the venue?

Allowed, subject to search. Wagons and strollers not allowed on the main lawn, wagon corral located at the Merch Booth.

What is your audio/video/photo policy?

Take lots of photos and videos, post them online, and tag your friends!

Can we bring bubble wands and squirt guns?

Bubbles, yes. Squirt guns, no.

What are box office hours?

The Retro Fest Box Office will be open from gate time until the final band of the evening takes the stage.

Is there a smoking area?

There is a designated smoking area. That is the only place smoking will be tolerated.

What is your firearms policy?

Firearms are strictly prohibited on the festival grounds for the duration of the event.

But what if I have a conceal and carry permit?

Alas, the answer is still no.

Are animals allowed at Retro Fest?

Service animals are permitted. 

What is the Retro Fest harassment policy?

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including any harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship, or pregnancy. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, activities including stalking, verbal / physical intimidation, offensive verbal comments, physical assault and/or battery, harassing or non-consensual photography/recording, bathroom policing, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome physical attention.

If someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe please report it to any Harefest staff member, including those stationed at Information or our Merch Booth. We’ll follow your lead, work with you, and do our best to ensure that your festival experience is as enjoyable as we intend it to be.

What is the Bag Policy

NO backpacks, purses or bags are allowed to be brought into the venue (this does NOT include the overnight areas), EXCEPT for the following:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12.” (official Harefest clear plastic tote bags are available at the box office);
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, i.e. Ziploc bag or something similar;
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand (and that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5”), with or without a handle or strap; and
  • Clear plastic Hydration packs (empty upon entry), i.e. clear plastic CamelBak bag or something similar.

For the avoidance of doubt, iridescent, color-tinted, and opalescent bags are NOT allowed; they must be clear. Some examples of approved bags can be found HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
